SIM is where leaders shaping and influencing technology connect, learn and share ideas.

The  Goals of the 4 Pillars that Guide Our Chapter

  1. Relationships:  Connect with other leaders driving technology; Find peers addressing similar issues and challenges; Leverage the diversity of our group; Build a trusted / confidential knowledge share.
  2. Education:  Share real-world experiences on technology, vendors, leadership, etc. with peers; Learn about technology trends and implications; Learn from innovation culture of Austin.
  3. Community Engagement:  Contribute to philanthropic and give-back activities to promote tech careers; Extend relationships across technology and leadership organizations; Influence policy impact from / to technology.
  4. Fun:  Celebrate the challenges of the profession; Keep learning and connecting with peers light-hearted.

Setting a Path for 2018!

The SIM Austin Executive Committee met at the end of January for the first Board meeting of 2018  and shared in their excitement over the path they are setting with programs and fun events for 2018.
